Quinta San Carlos · San Pedro Tesistán, Jocotepec.
On the shores of Lake Chapala, Jalisco - about one hour from Guadalajara airport.
Fly into Guadalajara International Airport (GDL). It's the closest hub and has direct flights from most major cities in the US, Europe, and Latin America.
We recommend arriving on Thursday (April 8) or Friday (April 9) and leaving on Monday (April 12) if you're in a rush, or start a Mexican roadtrip after Monday (April 12)
Communicate to us when you will be landing and we will be giving you some recommendation
We are probably going to organise buses from Guadalajara. We keep you posted as the situation will come closer.
By car to Quinta San Carlos: about 1 hour from GDL airport (~60 km), about 1h15 from Guadalajara center (~65 km). Uber and private taxis are also available.
Arriving before Thursday (April 8)? Enjoy Guadalajara first, then move to Lake Chapala (Ajijic, Jocotepec, Chapala) on Friday (April 9) - about 1h15 by car from the city center.
Best option: book directly at Quinta San Carlos from Thursday (April 8) to Sunday (April 11) - 150+ rooms right at the venue, so you're on site for the full experience.
Arriving Thursday (April 8) or Friday (April 9)? Head straight from the airport to your accommodation near the venue.
A valid passport is required. Most EU, US, and many other nationalities don't need a visa for short stays - please verify based on your country.
Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after the trip.
April in Jalisco is warm and dry: ~26 °C / 79 °F days, cool evenings around 14 °C / 57 °F.
Bring a light layer for the evening. Dress code: garden formal - heels are not ideal for the lawn.
We've planned the weekend with safe transport, trusted accommodations, and on-site support. If anything comes up, we're a message away.
